One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism and One Prayer.

We have been involved in a 6 week long nation wide program called ONE PRAYER. It was basically a few pastors that got together and thought it would be cool if they got a few churches to all share videos and messages with one another and then on July 26 launch a nationwide effort to just be servants in our communities. The ONE PRAYER series was origianlly going to be 6 churches but God had other plans. It became 1600 churches world wide.. Pretty awesome. Well God used this series to stir mine and rachels' heart and we are praying, serving and waiting on God's timing. He is going to do something awesome! Today we had the chance to serve at a local clinic that teaches people to read, provides dental and medical care as well as a lot of other services. We had a prayer and worship session at Lynn Park early this morning but i failed to get any pics. So i will post the pics i have from the clinic. Mark 10:45"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

Another beach trip

last week. Stacey and Keith, me and Jonathan and Sam went to Rosemary beach. We also went to visit the Howells and the Hardys in PC. It tooks us an hour and a half to get down the strip to visit ( it should take about 2o min). The drive was worth it because we got fed good food and watched awesome fireworks from Baypoint. Jonathan got soaked with silly string, no one got burnt and we ate a lot!!! Oh and Keith and Jonathan wasted some money because they didnt stick to the decisions they made while they were there. We also got to watch an awesome UFC fight were Forest Griffin won the title. I was just glad that we had seats at Buffalo Wild Wings because it wa spacked wall to wall. We ended the trip with a stop at the outlet malls. Then we headed home. The three amigos jammed in the back seat watched movies the whole way. I slept mostly, so thanks to Jonathan who got us home in all the rain. ~RAE

4th of July at Highlands

So highlands did a firework show for the 4th. The church service and the fireworks were amazing but it was so so packed. Stacey, Jonathan, their parents, Allison and I gathered for the festivities. Take note of Jonathan's "I dont want to take pictures" face its awesome!!!

LAKE DAY

Here are the pictures from our last lake day. The day involved tubing, grilling out, thunderstorms, cornhole, and 7 dogs.

Thirsty Thursday

Free baseball tickets on a muggy summer night with cheap wings... yes that means a good time. Allison, Jonathan, and I watched the Barons play Jacksonville (Courtney backed out on us). I got to hang out with Brooke and Alan for the first time in months. Yeah!!! This was my first trip to a thirsty Thursday and I was impressed with how much fun I had. It helped that I had friends to talk to, lots of snacks (thanks to Allison) and there was a fight on the field. I am very upset that there is not another thirsty thursday that I am off the rest of the summer. Everyone should try it if you get a chance. ~RAE
