BAMA JAM

90,000+

Rockin the last night in minimal clothing
The best grocery store feet ever!

So we finally made it to the 1st anual BAMAJAM. We drove um forever through some little bitty towns and ended up in the middle of some huge fields with the most amount of state troopers I have ever seen. Seriously 2 at every entrance, up and down every road on 4 wheelers and golf carts and 2 choppers in the air. We camped in a field with about 9,000 other folks and no shade. In South Alabama in June with no shade and no rain it was just a little warm!!! So the music was AWESOME. My fave suprize on Fri was The Zac Brown Band. Never heard them before, but they had some songs that have been stuck in my head for days. That night we saw Trace Adkins, yes I kinda like this huge man, and ZZ TOP. Those guys may be way old but they definitely rocked. I got yelled at by some rather large old ladies that didnt want to stand up, but the people in front of us saved me from fighting and gettin squished.... I was feelin a lil rowdy! So the Sat night we saw Corey Smith, Miranda Lambert, Skynyrd and HANK! The whole night was great. By the time Hank went on there were 90,000 rednecks in some fields in Enterprise AL. The crowd got a little crazy... we saw some violent women in a few fights. Oh did I mention that I didnt get to shower for 3 days except for with water out of the cooler and that there were porta potties for the 10,000 people they expected instead of the 90,000 that showed. Oh and we walked a 1/2 mile to the shows several times a day. Unless that is you caught one of the John Deeres pullin a trailer to haul you! No one is ever allowed to call me prissy again. I rocked the nasty feet and heat without comlpaint ALL weekend. ~RAE

Son of a Beach!

ONLY 2 boys and all those girls!!!

Yes ER nurses do REDNECK at the Coe show!!!

There was a beach trip with way to many stories to tell. Good food, good friends, rock band, outlet malls, super redneck store, AKA Bass Pro Shop(my new fav store). Lots of sun, someone got a sunburn in the shape of africa, someone skin turned black, there was some old dudes next to us that absoluetly loved the scenery. There was a trip to Ft. Walton to a honky tonk where we saw David Alan Coe. A redneck showed up in seaside. A skateboard was stolen. there was a front porch and a guitar which made for a little sanging. with all that said there was more but rae will tell of that. However there was NOT any "chipped beef chicken" nor pineapple casserol with corn flakes. Now there is a coming weekend in Enterprise Alabama known as BAMAJAM and then there is a countdown til my lil sister and bro in law get to experience the beach with rae and me!! Cannot wait!!!

Aww... dont ya think we're cute! This is us at the Red Bar and smoochin on the beach.

MMM MMM GOOD!

Yes the newley weds can cook!

So on Mother's Day. Stacey and I took our first stab at cooking for the whole family.

The menu was:

~Homemade fried chicken~

~Green bean casserole~ ~Macaroni & Chesse~

~Hashbrown casserole~ ~Deviled Eggs~

~Blueberry and peach Cobbler~

It all turned out great. We had enough food for about 20 more people, but at leat we had plenty to go around. Jonathan and Keith were a big help. Lets just say I know why KFC is so popular and I will always buy it from now on. Homemade fried chicken is not worth it if your the one that has to do it. The meal definitely made me more appreciative of all the family dinners I have attended. Anyway our first meal was a sucsess according to our family. They could have lied though:) ~RAE

Trick Bowling

The ER girls at the J Clyde
Bowling with my Fam!!!

Well this past weekend was a blast. Little bit busy, but that just keeps things entertaining. So, we did a little redecorating for anyone that wants to come by and see. I love it! The downside is all I wanna do is sit on the front porch with my dogs and read. I havent found much time to dedicate to that, but Im getting there. A big thanks to my hubby who is always pushing me to improve and who was very helpful with everything, even if he didnt trust my vision 100%. Of course he loves it now that its over. Anyway Thursday was a packed day with the decorating followed by dinner at the Thai House with the fam. Bowling was a blast. Props to my mom Amy and Nick for left handed strikes, and to me for a strike under the leg. (YES I HAVE THAT MUCH SKILL) Lets just say Hannah and I needed to make things interesting so we made a few things up... Under the leg, backwards, one leg hop, blind, granny style, and spinner bowling were just a few. If anyone wants to learn our amazing techniques just gives us a holla. Amazingly no one was injured. So JP and I ended the night at The J Clyde with co workers to celebrate Jonathan's 27th and Allison's 24th birthday. We just crammed 12 people into half a small patio. Lots of fun but definitely need a real break just to relax... good thing the beach is coming up!!! ~RAE
